ECE

What is ECE?

ECE stands for Early Childhood Education.

It refers to the teaching and care of children from birth to around 8 years old, usually including:

  • Preschool / Playgroup (ages 2–4)
  • Kindergarten / Nursery (ages 4–5)
  • Early primary / elementary grades (up to age 8)

🌱 The main goal of ECE is to support children’s overall development — including their:

  • Cognitive skills (thinking, problem-solving)
  • Language and communication
  • Social and emotional skills
  • Physical growth and coordination
  • Creativity and curiosity

ECE focuses on learning through play, exploration, and interaction rather than strict academic instruction. It builds the foundation for lifelong learning, helping children become confident, curious, and ready for school.
